These beautiful 19th-century Napoleon III ship chairs, once used as armchairs aboard a ship, are a true eye-catcher. These so-called captain’s chairs are crafted from mahogany wood and heavy cast iron, with the base featuring a hole to securely fasten the chairs to the ship’s floor. The seat cushions are reversible; on one side, you’ll find a beautiful wooden panel with floral motifs, while the other side is upholstered in burgundy red fabric. Though the upholstery shows its age, it adds character and authenticity to these unique chairs.
