Antique Dutch cast iron spiral staircase

Beautiful antique Dutch cast iron spiral staircase. This antique spiral staircase originates from the iron foundry L.I. Enthoven & Co. in The Hague. This foundry is the same one that cast the Rembrandt statue on Rembrandt Square. The staircase dates from before 1891, as the company changed its name to N.V. Pletterij and moved to Delft that year.

The spiral staircase is narrow and made of cast iron, with an industrial yet elegant appearance. It is an example of craftsmanship and historical heritage from the late 19th century.
