Japanese furniture set from ±1920 - dining table, chairs, bench, and mirror

Description

Exceptional Japanese furniture set, originating from the Meiji period around 1920.
The set consists of a dining table with four chairs, a bench, and a mirror, all crafted from richly carved hardwood. The furniture is adorned with detailed reliefs depicting iconic Japanese motifs, such as dragons, flowers, and leaves. The bench features an image of Mount Fuji and a dragon’s claw with three toes, both indicating that the set is Japanese, not Chinese (five toes). The mirror is adorned with an eagle.

This dark wooden set adds a unique and luxurious atmosphere to any space, making it perfect for a themed room in a bar, café, hotel, or club. With its refined and historical appearance, this set is not only a functional furniture collection but also a stunning work of art that tells a story of Japanese traditions and culture.
